RAMBLING WEEKENDS

LLANDUDNO WEEKEND
8th- 10th April 2011

What glorious weather we had for our Llandudno weekend.  The weather was hot and sunny for the whole weekend.  It was just like summer.  Llandudno is a lovely seaside place with lots to see and do.

The first day we walked from Rhos-on-Sea into Llandudno, with some of us going up the Little Orme where we had lovely views.  Day two was at Betsw-y-Coed where we had three different walks in this beautiful area - the 'A' party going up Moel Siabod, the 'B' party, Swallow Falls and the 'C' party walked in the Betsw-y-Coed area and visited the Visitors Centre.  Day three was spent in Llandudno with many of us going up the Great Orme, either walking, tram or cable car.  Lots to see and the shops were great!

ALL PHOTOS ARE NOW ON THE WEBSITE - I HOPE YOU ENJOY THEM!

MELROSE WEEKEND
20th- 22nd April 2012

We had a lovely time in Melrose and the weather was good, although not as good as last year, which was exceptional.  Unfortunately one of our members had a bad fall during the night and wasn't discovered until the next morning.  She had to be taken to hospital with a cracked rib and severe bruising.

Look out for the photos which I'll put on the website soon.
